When one of our properties becomes vacant we request a nomination from the local housing register. We do not have our own waiting list for housing. The Housing Register in East Herts is managed by East Herts District Council's Housing Options Team. When you apply for a Housing Association home it is worth considering what you are looking for. The more flexible you are, the quicker you can be housed. It is helpful to specify as many areas as possible where you would be happy to live. It could take much longer to find a home if the choice of location is limited and you will only be considered for homes in the areas that you indicate are acceptable.
