East Herts Council is offering grants to support community events that celebrate the 60 year reign of Queen Elizabeth II or the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The Council will fund revenue and capital costs of up to £300 (subject to availability) to put on a safe, community/family event such as:

• Venue hire and other hire costs
• Equipment
• Advertising/Marketing/publicity materials
• Refreshments
• Decorations
• Insurance
• First aid
